Required qualifications

• Active, valid Physical Therapy state license.
• Current CPR and BLS certification (AHA or Red Cross) including AED.

Core responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive physical assessments and review medical history.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other therapists to determine patient needs.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment and rehabilitation plans with measurable goals.
• Design and progress therapeutic exercise programs to improve strength, flexibility, endurance, and coordination.
• Deliver manual therapy (joint mobilization, soft tissue techniques, stretching) to improve mobility and reduce pain.
• Administer modalities (ultrasound, electrical stimulation, heat/cold) as appropriate.
• Train and instruct patients in use of assistive devices (crutches, canes, walkers, wheelchairs).
• Create and educate patients/families on home exercise programs, body mechanics, ergonomics, and injury prevention.
• Monitor, document, and update patient progress; modify treatment plans accordingly.
• Implement pain management strategies using therapeutic exercise, modalities, and manual techniques.
• Support patients in regaining independence after surgery, injury, or illness.
• Maintain accurate, timely patient records (assessments, treatments, progress notes, changes).
• Adhere to ethical, legal, and confidentiality standards; obtain informed consent.
• Provide culturally sensitive care and respond to diverse patient needs.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
