Contract travel opportunity in York, PA — 13 weeks, ASAP start. Schedule: Mon–Fri, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM. Compensation: Travel $2,121/35 hrs; Local $2,090/35 hrs.

Required credentials

• Active Physical Therapy license for the practicing state
• CPR and BLS certification (AHA or Red Cross, AED included)

Role overview
Provide patient-centered physical therapy services across outpatient/acute settings, performing evaluations, designing and delivering individualized treatment plans, and collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to promote safe, functional recovery and independence.

Key responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive evaluations, review medical histories, and identify functional impairments and rehabilitation goals
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans with measurable short- and long-term objectives
• Deliver therapeutic interventions including therapeutic exercise, manual therapy (joint mobilization, soft tissue work, stretching), and assistive device training
• Utilize modalities (ultrasound, electrical stimulation, heat/cold) as appropriate to manage pain and support tissue healing
• Create and instruct patients and caregivers on home exercise programs, body mechanics, ergonomics, and injury prevention strategies
• Monitor patient progress, document assessments and interventions accurately, and modify plans as needed to achieve goals
• Communicate and coordinate care with physicians, nurses, occupational therapists, and other team members to optimize outcomes
• Maintain professional, ethical practice, including patient confidentiality and informed consent
• Demonstrate cultural sensitivity and adapt care to diverse patient populations
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management
