Join a 13-week contract/travel assignment in North Andover, MA (start ASAP). Full-time schedule: Sun–Sat, 08:00 AM–04:30 PM. Compensation: Travel: $2,383/36 hrs; Local: $2,347/36 hrs.

Requirements:

  • Active Physical Therapy state license
  • CPR/BLS certification (AHA or Red Cross, including AED)

Overview:
Provide patient-centered physical therapy services across the continuum of care. Deliver comprehensive assessments, individualized treatment plans, hands-on interventions, modalities, and education to help patients regain function, manage pain, and return to independence.

Key responsibilities:

  • Perform thorough evaluations and review medical history to identify functional limitations and rehabilitation goals.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans with measurable objectives.
  • Deliver therapeutic exercise programs to improve strength, flexibility, endurance, and coordination.
  • Use manual techniques (joint mobilization, soft tissue work, stretching) and modalities (ultrasound, electrical stimulation, heat/cold) as appropriate.
  • Instruct and fit patients with assistive devices (crutches, canes, walkers, wheelchairs) and train safe use.
  • Educate patients and families on diagnoses, home exercise programs, body mechanics, ergonomics, and injury prevention.
  • Monitor and document patient progress; adjust plans of care based on response and outcomes.
  • Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurses, occupational therapists, and other team members to coordinate care.
  • Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation and adhere to ethical, legal, and confidentiality standards.
  • Provide culturally sensitive care and obtain informed consent.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
