Travel Contract Physical Therapist (PT) — Winchester, NH (13-Week)

We’re looking for a skilled Physical Therapist to join a team in Winchester, NH on a 13-week contract starting ASAP. This role follows an 08:00 AM–04:30 PM schedule and offers competitive pay (Travel: $2,072/35-hours; Local: $2,041/35-hours).

What you’ll need

• A valid, active Physical Therapy state license.
• Current CPR/BLS certification from the American Heart Association or Red Cross (including AED).

What you’ll do
You’ll perform thorough evaluations, review medical histories, and work closely with other clinicians to identify each patient’s needs. From there you’ll create individualized treatment plans with clear, measurable goals and design exercise programs to improve strength, flexibility, coordination, and endurance.

Hands-on care is a big part of the role: you’ll use manual techniques (joint mobilization, soft tissue work, stretching) and therapeutic modalities (ultrasound, electrical stimulation, heat/cold) to reduce pain and promote healing. You’ll also instruct patients on safe use of assistive devices (crutches, canes, walkers, wheelchairs) and provide practical education to patients and families about conditions, recovery expectations, body mechanics, ergonomics, and injury prevention.

You’ll monitor progress, adjust plans as needed, and document assessments, treatments, and outcomes accurately. Creating customized home exercise programs and collaborating with physicians, nurses, and occupational therapists to coordinate care will be expected. Throughout, you’ll follow ethical and legal standards, maintain patient confidentiality, obtain informed consent, and demonstrate cultural sensitivity in your interactions.

Other responsibilities may be assigned by management.
