Type: Contract/Travel
Rate: Travel $1,995/35 hrs; Local $1,967/35 hrs

We are seeking an experienced Physical Therapist to provide high-quality, patient-centered care in Milford, NH. The clinician will evaluate, plan, and implement individualized rehabilitation programs to restore function, reduce pain, and improve patients’ independence and quality of life.

Required credentials

  • Active, valid Physical Therapy state license
  • CPR and BLS certification from the American Heart Association or Red Cross (including AED)

Key responsibilities

  • Perform comprehensive physical assessments, review medical history, and collaborate with the healthcare team to identify patient needs and goals
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans with measurable rehabilitation objectives
  • Create and supervise therapeutic exercise programs to improve strength, flexibility, endurance, and coordination
  • Apply hands-on techniques (joint mobilization, soft tissue work, manual stretching) to enhance mobility and relieve pain
  • Utilize modalities (ultrasound, electrical stimulation, heat/cold) as clinically indicated to manage pain and promote healing
  • Instruct patients in safe use of assistive devices (crutches, canes, walkers, wheelchairs)
  • Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatment plans, injury prevention, ergonomics, and home exercise programs
  • Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting interventions to meet evolving needs
  • Communicate effectively with physicians, nurses, occupational therapists, and other team members to coordinate care
  • Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation and comply with ethical, legal, and confidentiality standards
  • Provide culturally responsive care and obtain informed consent
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management
