Schedule: Tue–Sat, 08:00 AM–04:30 PM (36 hours/week)
Rate: Travel: $2,383/36 hrs; Local: $2,347/36 hrs

Required credentials:

  • Active Physical Therapy state license
  • CPR and BLS certification (AHA or Red Cross, with AED)

Core responsibilities:

  • Perform comprehensive physical assessments, review medical history, and coordinate with multidisciplinary team members to determine patient needs.
  • Develop and document individualized treatment plans with measurable rehabilitation goals.
  • Design and implement therapeutic exercise programs to improve strength, flexibility, endurance, balance, and coordination.
  • Provide hands-on interventions (joint mobilization, soft tissue techniques, manual stretching) to improve mobility and reduce pain.
  • Administer physical modalities as indicated (ultrasound, electrical stimulation, heat/cold) to manage pain and promote tissue healing.
  • Instruct and train patients in safe use of assistive devices (crutches, canes, walkers, wheelchairs).
  • Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatment plans, body mechanics, ergonomics, and injury prevention.
  • Develop and oversee pain management strategies incorporating therapeutic exercise, modalities, and manual techniques.
  • Assist patients in regaining independence post-surgery, injury, or illness; adapt interventions to functional goals.
  • Monitor, reassess, and document patient progress; modify treatment plans based on response and goals.
  • Provide individualized home exercise programs and discharge planning as appropriate.
  • Maintain accurate, timely patient records (assessments, treatments, progress notes, condition changes).
  • Communicate effectively with physicians, nurses, occupational therapists, and other care team members to coordinate care.
  • Adhere to legal, ethical, and confidentiality standards; obtain informed consent.
  • Demonstrate cultural sensitivity and responsiveness to diverse patient populations.
  • Other duties as assigned by management.
