PATIENT INFORMATION
- Patient Demographics: All ages
- Patient Volume/Census: Approximately 30 40 patients per day
- Case Mix: General dermatology including medical dermatology, skin cancer screenings, and cosmetic services
FACILITY INFORMATION
- Trauma Level: Adult Level II
- EMR System: Epic
- Office Equipment Available: Standard dermatology clinic equipment
- Specialty Backup Available: Dermatology and surgical specialists including Mohs surgery services
- Support Staff Available: 3 Certified Medical Assistants providing scribing support
- Reason for Coverage: Supplemental coverage
PRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE
- Hospital Privileges Required: Yes
- Credentialing Timeline: Approximately 60 90 days
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
- Travel, Lodging, and Malpractice Insurance: Covered REQUIRED PROCEDURES
- General dermatologic evaluations and treatment
- Skin cancer screenings and lesion assessments
- Treatment of common dermatologic conditions including acne, eczema, rosacea, and psoriasis
- Minor dermatologic procedures such as lesion removal and skin tag removal
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Licenses: Active North Carolina medical license or ability to obtain (IMLC accepted)
- Board: Board Certified in Dermatology
- DEA: Active DEA Certification required
- Certifications: Facility-required vaccinations as applicable
- Experience: Experienced general dermatologist preferred
- Other Qualifications: Experience with Epic EMR preferred
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide outpatient dermatology care for approximately 30 40 patients per day
- Diagnose and treat a broad range of dermatologic conditions
- Perform minor dermatologic procedures as appropriate
- Collaborate with clinic staff including medical assistants and dermatology specialists
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the Epic EMR system
