Adelphi is seeking experienced Physical Therapists to deliver targeted services to students in a Washington, DC school. Therapists will improve students’ mobility, strength, and access to the school environment through evidence-based interventions and collaboration with educational teams.

Minimum Qualifications

• Licensed Physical Therapist in Washington, DC
• Master’s or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy
• Registration with the appropriate national certification board (APTA)
• Experience in school-based or pediatric settings preferred

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate students’ gross motor function and mobility to determine educational impact
• Develop and implement individualized PT interventions that support IEP goals
• Provide therapy within the school setting to promote safe, functional participation in learning
• Monitor and document progress in compliance with IDEA and district standards; attend ARD/IEP meetings
• Consult with teachers and staff to recommend mobility, positioning, and access supports across settings
• Perform other duties as assigned
