Rate: Travel $2,121/35 hrs; Local $2,090/35 hrs

Requirements

• Active, valid Physical Therapy state license.
• CPR and BLS certification from AHA or Red Cross (with AED).

Primary Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive physical assessments and review medical history.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to determine patient needs and goals.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and measurable rehabilitation goals.
• Design and progress therapeutic exercise programs to improve strength, flexibility, endurance, and coordination.
• Apply manual therapy techniques (joint mobilization, soft tissue work, manual stretching) to improve mobility and reduce pain.
• Use modalities as appropriate (ultrasound, electrical stimulation, heat/cold) to manage pain and inflammation.
• Train and instruct patients in safe use of assistive devices (crutches, canes, walkers, wheelchairs).
• Provide patient and family education on diagnosis, treatment plan, body mechanics, ergonomics, and injury prevention.
• Create and prescribe home exercise programs to support ongoing recovery.
• Monitor, document, and adjust patient progress and treatment plans; maintain accurate clinical records and progress notes.
• Communicate effectively with physicians, nurses, occupational therapists, and other staff to coordinate care.
• Adhere to ethical, legal, and confidentiality standards; obtain informed consent.
• Demonstrate cultural sensitivity in patient interactions.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
