Rate: Travel $1,775/35 hrs; Local $1,750/35 hrs

Requirements:

• Active, valid Physical Therapy state license
• CPR and BLS certification from American Heart Association or Red Cross (with AED)

Core Responsibilities:

• Perform comprehensive physical assessments and review medical history
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary team to determine patient needs
• Develop and document individualized treatment plans with measurable goals
• Design and implement exercise programs to improve strength, flexibility, endurance, and coordination
• Apply hands-on techniques (joint mobilization, soft tissue work, manual stretching) to improve mobility and reduce pain
• Use modalities as appropriate (ultrasound, electrical stimulation, heat/cold) to manage pain and inflammation
• Instruct patients in safe use of assistive devices (crutches, canes, walkers, wheelchairs)
• Provide patient and family education on diagnosis, treatment plan, body mechanics, ergonomics, and injury prevention
• Create and prescribe home exercise programs to support ongoing recovery
• Monitor, document, and adjust treatment based on patient progress and outcomes
• Maintain accurate clinical records (assessments, treatments, progress notes, changes in condition)
• Adhere to ethical, legal, and confidentiality standards; obtain informed consent
• Demonstrate cultural sensitivity and provide care responsive to diverse patient backgrounds
• Perform other duties as assigned by management
