Join a 13-week contract/travel assignment in Phillipsburg, NJ, starting ASAP. Full-time schedule: Mon–Fri, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM. Compensation: Travel: $2,268/35 hrs; Local: $2,233/35 hrs.

Requirements:

• Current, active Physical Therapy state license.
• CPR/BLS certification from AHA or Red Cross (with AED).

Position overview:
Provide high-quality, patient-centered physical therapy services across the continuum of care. Perform thorough evaluations, develop individualized treatment plans, and deliver evidence-based interventions to restore function, reduce pain, and promote independence. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and educate patients and families to support safe discharge and ongoing recovery.

Key responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and review medical history to identify patient needs and goals.
• Create and implement individualized treatment plans with measurable rehabilitation objectives.
• Use exercise prescription, manual therapy (joint mobilization, soft tissue techniques, stretching), and therapeutic modalities (ultrasound, electrical stimulation, heat/cold) as appropriate.
• Train and advise patients on assistive devices (crutches, canes, walkers, wheelchairs) and safe body mechanics.
• Develop pain-management strategies and progressive home exercise programs to support functional gains.
• Monitor, document, and adjust interventions based on patient progress and outcomes.
• Communicate effectively with physicians, nurses, occupational therapists, and other team members to coordinate care.
• Maintain accurate clinical records, uphold legal/ethical standards (confidentiality, informed consent), and practice cultural sensitivity.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
