Job Summary:

Mission Health is seeking an experienced, board certified, and fellowship trained, colon and rectal surgeon, to join our busy and expanding surgical specialists’ team in Asheville, North Carolina.

Qualified Candidates:

• Fellowship trained in colon and rectal surgery
• Board certified in general surgery; board eligible/board certified in colorectal surgery  
• Practicing physicians preferred; ideally three (3) to eight (8) years’ experience
  • New graduates, completing Fellowship training, evaluated on a case-by-case basis
• Please note that this position does not offer visa support

Position Highlights:

• Mission Surgery is comprised of five (5) surgical specialists and four (4) advanced practice providers, focusing on all areas of general surgery
  • Subspecialties include MIS, colorectal and hepatobiliary
• Seven (7) dedicated da Vinci Robotic surgical systems
• 2-3 OR days per week
• 1-2 Clinic days per week
• Call - Group Only; no EGS; No ER; Residents or APPs take 1st call
