Requirements:

- Graduate of accredited nursing program
- BLS required; ACLS preferred
- Previous orthopedic or surgical experience preferred
- Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Responsibilities:
- Provide nursing care to orthopedic patients
- Perform musculoskeletal assessments and monitor recovery
- Manage post-operative care for joint and bone surgeries
- Administer medications, IV therapy, and treatments as ordered
- Assist with mobility, rehabilitation, and fall prevention
- Monitor surgical sites, casts, and traction devices
- Collaborate with physicians and therapy teams
- Educate patients on recovery and discharge care
- Document care and patient progress in the EMR
