Salina Regional Health Center, in Salina, KS, is now seeking a BE/BC General Surgeon to round out our team. Salina has a population of 50,000 but pulls patients from a region of 250,000 people, making it the perfect balance of community and pathology!
Opportunity
- Work with four partners in a high-functioning Level III trauma center; PA on the inpatient side responsible for responding to traumas
- Opportunities to expand practice with wound care, vein clinic, vascular services, outreach, and telemedicine
- Large, built-in referral base with 3 affiliate hospitals, 26 family medicine physicians and 6 pediatricians; patient base of 250,000 with 39,000 ED visits annually.
- Work in a BRAND NEW surgical center equipped with state-of-the-art technology including two da Vinci Xi robots and da Vinci SP. Surgical center will include outpatient clinic space, 6 OR's, 24 pre/post-op rooms, onsite x-ray and ultrasound, outpatient PT and OT, opening spring 2028!
- Be part of a regional healthcare system with easy access to specialty care collaboration and most specialties
- Supportive, on-site, and approachable administrative team. Very open to your ideas as an employed physician!
- Teaching Optional! Work with students from KU School of Medicine - Salina and Smoky Hill Family Medicine Residency

Opening in spring 2028! Salina Regional Health Center is expanding specialty care access with a new 90,000-square-foot, three-story multispecialty clinic and outpatient surgery center designed to support physician efficiency, collaboration, and long-term growth while serving patients across central and western Kansas. The integrated facility brings clinic services, imaging, therapy, surgery, laboratory, and pharmacy together in one location to streamline workflows and enhance coordinated care. The first floor features an orthopedic clinic, a 5,000-square-foot therapy gym, and on-site imaging; the second floor houses general surgery, gastroenterology, and ENT specialty clinics; and the third floor includes a state-of-the-art surgery center with six robotic-ready operating rooms, endoscopy suites, and 38 pre- and post-operative bays. Designed with flexible clinical space, modern technology, and dedicated physician support areas, the center promotes efficient patient flow, practice growth, and a collaborative environment that supports both provider productivity and patient experience.
