Required Qualifications

  • Active Missouri Physical Therapist license
  • Familiarity with IDEA and Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Experience with students ages 5–21 with severe disabilities preferred
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills with students, families, and school staff

Primary Responsibilities

  • Provide direct physical therapy services in accordance with each student’s IEP
  • Deliver integrated, classroom-based therapy and individual interventions
  • Consult with teachers, aides, and school personnel to support student access and participation
  • Assist with development, review, and documentation of IEP goals and progress reporting
  • Maintain timely, accurate therapy documentation and service records
  • Attend required meetings, trainings, and IEP conferences
  • Ensure compliance with district, state, and federal policies and regulations
  • Perform other duties as assigned related to student services
