RN Unit Manager (13-Week Contract) — Falmouth, ME

We’re seeking an experienced nursing leader to join a Falmouth, ME team on a 13-week contract starting ASAP. This is a local, non-travel opportunity (07:00 AM–03:30 PM) with a 40-hour weekly rate of $2,360.

What you’ll bring

• An active, valid RN license in your state
• Prior nursing leadership experience
• Current BLS certification

What you’ll do
You’ll lead and support a nursing team (RNs, LPNs, CNAs), ensuring patient care follows policies and best practices. Day-to-day you’ll supervise assessments, medication administration, documentation, and make adjustments to care plans as patients’ needs change. You’ll help with staffing and scheduling to keep care running smoothly and mentor staff to promote their professional growth.

You’ll also monitor quality and compliance—conducting audits, addressing issues, and implementing improvements. Clear communication with physicians, therapists, and other team members will be key to coordinating care. You’ll advocate for patients, handle concerns, respond to medical emergencies per protocol, and ensure accurate electronic health record documentation. Stay current with healthcare regulations and support staff compliance. Additional duties may be assigned by management.
