Join our team in Clarksdale, MS — a full-time position with an immediate start. Your typical schedule will be 8:00 AM–4:30 PM.
What we’re looking for
- Appropriate Physical Therapy licensure for the state where you will practice, or documentation showing you are eligible for licensure.
- M.S. in Physical Therapy, or an M.S. in a related field plus a B.S. in Physical Therapy, or a B.S. in Physical Therapy with at least five years of PT experience.
- Valid driver’s license or reliable transportation.
What you’ll do
- Provide hands-on patient care: screen, examine, evaluate, diagnose, set goals, and develop individualized treatment plans. Document all services and plans clearly and promptly.
- Deliver a wide range of therapeutic interventions, including therapeutic exercise (aerobic, balance, coordination, strength, flexibility), functional training, manual therapy, airway clearance, wound/integumentary care, electrotherapeutic and mechanical modalities, health and wellness education, chronic disease management, and fall risk assessment/intervention.
- Teach and train patients in mobility and daily living skills; evaluate progress and adjust care as needed through routine reexaminations.
- Design home- and community-based mobility assessments and provide practical safety recommendations.
- Collaborate with the rehabilitation team to select and modify therapeutic regimens that fit each person’s physical and cognitive abilities.
- Refer patients to other disciplines and community agencies when appropriate.
- Supervise and mentor Physical Therapy Assistants, temporary licensees, students, and support staff in accordance with state licensure and professional standards.
- Maintain timely clinical and billing documentation, follow department and patient treatment schedules, and attend required meetings and staffing conferences.
- Order, maintain, and clean supplies and equipment; report maintenance needs and support a safe, hazard-free environment.
- Ensure patients and families receive compassionate, high-quality care and education.
- Participate in health and wellness programming and integrate these concepts into treatment plans.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
