Locum tenens opportunity in Gettysburg, PA covering hospital, outpatient clinic, and OR settings. Daytime clinical and call coverage only (no nights or weekends). Ongoing coverage beginning May 11, 2026. Standard schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM; daytime call as noted.

Coverage windows (daytime call unless noted): May 11–15; May 26–29; June 1–5; June 8–12; June 29–July 2; July 6–10 (two providers: split call + clinic/OR); August 3–7; August 17–21 (two providers); August 31–September 4; September 8–11; September 14–18 (two providers); September 21–25 (two providers); September 28–October 2.

Clinical scope: Adult general urology—clinic visits, office procedures, OR cases, hospital admissions and rounds. Typical daily volume: ~40–70 patients. Admissions and rounding required. Maintain documentation in Epic.

Facility highlights: 73-bed hospital; modern clinic with 9 exam rooms and 3 procedure rooms. Support team includes 3 MAs, 1 LPN, surgical scheduler, 3 front office staff, and a practice manager. Coverage requested for supplemental support.

Privileges & credentialing: Hospital privileges required; temporary privileges available with a clean file. Credentialing timeline under 90 days.

Required qualifications: Active PA medical license or willingness to obtain; DEA for PA; Board Eligible or Board Certified in Urology; minimum 5 years’ urology experience. Strong clinical efficiency and ability to manage high patient volume required.

Procedures expected: General urology, office-based procedures, and surgical urology cases.

Key responsibilities: Provide outpatient, inpatient, and operative urologic care; perform clinic evaluations, procedures, and OR cases; participate in daytime call coverage; collaborate with clinical and surgical staff; ensure timely, accurate Epic documentation.
