Join a permanent inpatient psychiatry team in Georgetown, DE, providing clinical-only care Monday–Friday during daytime hours. The 99-bed facility currently treats an average daily census of 18 patients; the psychiatry group comprises two physicians supported by three clinical staff. Coverage begins ASAP and is ongoing to fill a current vacancy.
Clinical scope includes evaluation and treatment of anxiety, mood/affective, ADHD, eating, personality, developmental, and psychotic disorders, with familiarity expected in involuntary commitments and psychopharmacology. EMR: Wellsky.
Requirements
- Active Delaware medical license or willingness to obtain
- Board-certified or board-eligible in General/Adult Psychiatry (if BE, within 0–5 years of residency)
- DEA registration and CSR/CDS
- BLS certification
- Most NPDB report
