Rate: Travel: $1,922/35-hrs; Local: $1,894/35-hrs

Required credentials

• Active, valid Physical Therapy state license
• CPR and BLS certification from American Heart Association or Red Cross (with AED)

Core responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive physical assessments and review medical history to determine patient needs.
• Develop individualized treatment plans with measurable rehabilitation goals.
• Design and implement exercise programs to improve strength, flexibility, endurance, and coordination.
• Use manual techniques (joint mobilization, soft tissue work, therapeutic stretching) to improve mobility and reduce pain.
• Apply modalities (ultrasound, electrical stimulation, heat/cold) as appropriate for pain control and tissue healing.
• Train and instruct use of assistive devices (crutches, canes, walkers, wheelchairs).
• Provide education to patients and families on diagnoses, treatment plans, body mechanics, ergonomics, and injury prevention.
• Create and prescribe home exercise programs to support continued recovery.
• Monitor, document, and adjust treatment based on patient progress and response.
• Collaborate and communicate with physicians, nurses, occupational therapists, and other care team members to coordinate care.
• Maintain accurate, timely patient records (assessments, treatments, progress notes, changes).
• Follow legal, ethical, and confidentiality standards; obtain informed consent.
• Demonstrate cultural sensitivity and provide care responsive to diverse patient needs.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
