- True solo coverage with full autonomy and responsibility
- Manageable census in a small community hospital setting
- Defined short-term block over New Year timeframe
**Assignment Details**
- Coverage type: Clinic + Call
- Start date: December 28, 2026
- End date: January 4, 2027
- Schedule: 24-hour coverage (7a–7a)
- Setting: Inpatient hospital
- EMR: Epic
**Clinical Details**
- Average census of 14 patients
- 25-bed hospital with Level IV trauma designation
- Adult and geriatric population
- Sole physician covering inpatient + nursing home call
- Supported by 1 PA and ancillary staff
**Requirements**
- Board Certified Family Medicine or Internal Medicine
- Active KY license and DEA
- BLS required
**Compensation**
- Rates: Facility is accepting bids
- Malpractice: Provided
- Travel: Reimbursed
