Clinical Volume & Duties
- Patient census: 3–5
- Expected admissions: ~1
- Phone consults: ~4
- Rounding: included, <4 patients per rounding session
- Support staff: 2 RNs, 1 MA, 1 office staff
- EMR: Cerner
Procedures/Clinical Requirements
- Ventilator management (neonatal/pediatric)
- Endotracheal intubation
- Central line placement (C-lines), arterial lines (A-lines)
- Umbilical venous catheter (UVC) and umbilical arterial catheter (UAC)
- Lumbar puncture
- Thoracentesis/paracentesis
- Chest tube insertion; needle decompression for pneumothorax
- X-ray and EKG interpretation
- Minor laceration suturing

Provider Requirements
- Active Mississippi medical license or participation in IMLC
- Neonatology fellowship training
- Board certified
- PALS certified
