RN NICU-San Luis Obispo, CA- Nights

$2835 WEEKLY GROSS

$26/hourly on W2+ $1743 Stipends for meals and lodging

Local rate: $55-60 /hourly on W2

Location: San Luis Obispo, CA

Assignment Details

• Profession: Registered Nurse (RN)
• Specialty: NICU (Level III minimum experience required)
• Assignment Length: 13 Weeks
• Schedule: 3 x 12-hour shifts/week (36 hours/week)
• Rotating days of the week
• Floating: Required (cross-trained to Pediatrics)

 

 

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver specialized NICU nursing care during assigned night shifts
• Assess and monitor neonates for physiological changes
• Administer medications and treatments per provider orders
• Participate in neonatal resuscitation and attend deliveries as needed
• Provide education and emotional support to families
• Supervise and delegate tasks appropriately
• Cross-train and float to Pediatric unit as required

 

Requirements

Experience

• Minimum 2 years NICU experience (Level III required)

Education

• Associate Degree (A.S.) or equivalent – Required

Licensure & Certifications

• Current RN license in state of practice – Required
• BLS (Basic Life Support) – Required
• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) – Required
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) – Required
