We are seeking a dedicated Primary Care Physician interested in practicing full spectrum family medicine, including surgical obstetrics, in our well-established clinic in Sangerville, Maine. This position offers an inviting and supportive environment for family physicians who are passionate about providing comprehensive OB care. You’ll enjoy the opportunity to build lasting relationships with patients while practicing a broad scope of medicine in a collegial, community-focused setting.
* Flexibility in schedule with a 4- or 5-day work week
* Experienced team and collaborative atmosphere
* Supportive senior admin team
* Convenient access to hospital-based resources
* Several specialty services on site, including urology, diabetes care, integrative behavioral health, as well as radiology and phlebotomy on site
* Rural, family-friendly community with a strong sense of connection
Critical access hospital on the shores of Moosehead Lake in the heart of Maine's lakes and mountains region. Physicians enjoy the quality of life afforded by the low-volume, community-centered rural hospital in an idyllic setting. Suitable candidates are comfortable working independently to manage the breadth of problems presenting to a "front line" hospital.
Integrated EMR, access to tertiary specialty services through a "one call" transfer system and selected telemedicine services. Hospital is also served by a regional trauma service, LifeFlight of Maine, utilizing helicopter and fixed-wing resources.
