St. Joseph's Hospital, your primary practice home, is a nationally recognized cardiac center holding Comprehensive Stroke Center certification, Chest Pain Center accreditation, and Cardiac Arrest Receiving Center designation. Position Highlights

  • Specialty: General Cardiology, employed full-time with Carondelet Medical Group
  • Schedule: 35-45 hours per clinic week
  • Hospital rotation: Shared 7-days-on rotation; no calls after 5 PM
  • Hospital duties: Consults, echocardiogram and EKG interpretation
  • Patient volume: Clinic census 24-30 patients; hospital census 10-25 patients
  • Dedicated structural heart team supporting high-risk patients, cardiogenic shock, structural/valvular disease, and STEMI/shock transfer management
  • Practice setting: Multi-provider physician and APP team; centralized professional services support

Candidate Requirements

  • MD or DO degree
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Cardiology
  • Arizona medical license, or eligibility to obtain one
  • Strong clinical and interpersonal skills with a commitment to patient-centered care
