Join a psychiatric nursing team in Lewiston, ME for a night-shift contract opportunity starting ASAP. This 40-hour/week assignment offers $2,424 and is ideal for an RN with psychiatric or mental health experience who thrives in acute behavioral health settings.

What you’ll do:

• Conduct regular mental health assessments and monitor patients’ clinical status.
• Safely administer medications and implement therapeutic interventions.
• Facilitate/support individual and group therapy activities and provide patient education.
• Accurately document care and promptly communicate changes to the interdisciplinary team.
• Collaborate with psychiatrists, therapists, and nursing colleagues to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care.

Requirements:

• Active RN license in the practicing state.
• Psychiatric/mental health nursing experience preferred.
• Strong clinical judgment, communication, and crisis-management skills.
• BLS required; psychiatric or behavioral health certifications preferred.
