Hematology / Oncology Opportunity with established and growing CHRISTUS practice in Texarkana (NE Texas)

CHRISTUS Trinity Clinic in collaboration with CHRISTUS St. Michael’s hospital in Texarkana is seeking a BE/BC Hematology/Oncology physician to join an established practice. This unique opportunity offers the stability and support of an employment model combined with the ability to maximize earnings through RVU-based compensation. The incoming physician will benefit from a strong referral network, a growing patient base, and the autonomy to expand clinical interests.

 Practice Highlights:

• Practice ensures a first-year income guarantee to be surpassed with an exceptional RVU-based compensation model which rewards individual performance.
• Located on 120 wooded acres, the campus is home to two (2) CHRISTUS St. Michael Hospitals, medical offices and clinics, offering a collaborative environment and an ideal setting for professional growth.
• Practice features six exam rooms; three dedicated to each physician plus private physician offices.
• Two certified Radiation Oncology Advance Practice Clinicians (APCs) run the chemo rooms and manage in-treatment patients, comprising their entire clinic load.
• The practice treats a broad range of adult oncology patients. Common cancer types include lungs, breasts, colon, and prostate. The region has a higher-than-average incident rate of lung cancer. 
• Currently, the volume is approximately 16–18 patients/day, mostly involve biopsies; cases for procedural intervention can be referred to Interventional Radiology.
• Call duties 1:4 (one weekday/week and one weekend/month) No ER Telephone call only.

Hospital Services:

• 311-bed acute care hospital with a Level III Emergency Department and a full range of medical specialties represented.
• Christus after-hours triage services nurse line assists with call duties
• Epic EMR utilized across both clinic and hospital settings.

Qualifications:

• Unrestricted Texas License at start of practice
• Texas Registered DEA
• BC/BE Residency trained in Hematology/Oncology
• Upcoming graduation residents encouraged to inquire
