Rates: Travel: $2,648/40 hrs; Local: $2,608/40 hrs

Required:

• Active Physical Therapy state license
• CPR and BLS certification (AHA or Red Cross, with AED)

Key responsibilities:

• Perform comprehensive evaluations: review medical history, assess mobility, strength, ROM, pain, balance, coordination, and functional status.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans with measurable goals; adjust plans based on progress.
• Deliver therapeutic interventions: manual therapy (joint mobilization, soft tissue work, stretching), therapeutic exercise, and functional training to restore independence.
• Administer modalities as appropriate (ultrasound, electrical stimulation, heat/cold) for pain control and tissue healing.
• Instruct and fit patients for assistive devices (crutches, canes, walkers, wheelchairs) and train safe use.
• Provide patient and family education on diagnoses, treatment plans, home exercise programs, body mechanics, ergonomics, and injury prevention.
• Collaborate and communicate with interdisciplinary team (physicians, nurses, OTs, etc.) to coordinate care.
• Document evaluations, treatment plans, progress notes, and changes in condition accurately and timely.
• Maintain patient confidentiality, obtain informed consent, and adhere to legal/ethical standards.
• Practice cultural sensitivity and adapt care to diverse patient needs.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
