As an OB Hospitalist at UP Health System-Marquette in Marquette, MI you will be inspired by the community you serve as a valued member of the Lifepoint Health team, a nationally recognized healthcare organization committed to caring with a local heart. Position Details:

• Inpatient OBGYN – benefited position

• Hospital employed

• 10 – 24-hour shifts per month

  • 10 on-site hour requirement

  • No outpatient

  • Rounding covers consults, deliveries, admissions

• Work in conjunction with independent OB group

• Call 1:4 with addition of Laborist

  • On-call physician responsible for ER admits and transfers

• Experienced OB department

  • Seasoned nurses with 10+ yrs of Obstetric care

• Focus on teamwork, excellent culture

• V-Backs are provided

• C-sections done in the OR

  • OR team available 24/7

• Average of 50 deliveries per month

• 24/7 Pediatric and Cardiology coverage

  • Fulltime pediatric cardiologist on-site

• Teaching affiliation with Michigan State University

  • Medical Students and Family Practice Residents

  • Residents on site in OB 24/7

• Level IIIA NICU staffed with 3 Neonatologists and 3 APPs 

  • Mobile transport team
