Join a contract travel team in Lewiston, ME, providing night-shift Med-Surg/Orthopedic care. This 7p–7a assignment starts ASAP and offers $2,424 per 40-hour week.

Required qualifications

• Active RN license (state-specific or compact, as applicable)
• Minimum 1 year recent Med-Surg and/or Orthopedic nursing experience preferred
• BLS required; ACLS preferred

Core responsibilities

• Assess, monitor, and document patient status and responses to treatment
• Provide post-operative and orthopedic care, including joint replacement recovery and neurovascular checks
• Administer medications, IV fluids, and prescribed treatments safely and accurately
• Monitor vitals, pain, wounds, and neurovascular integrity; identify and escalate changes in condition
• Assist with mobility, ambulation, and safe use of assistive devices
• Educate patients and families on care plans, medications, mobility restrictions, and discharge instructions
• Collaborate with physicians, physical therapists, and the interdisciplinary care team
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation and adhere to infection control, safety, and regulatory standards
