Travel Physical Therapist (PT) — Brooklyn Park, MD | $2,317/35-hr | 13-Week Contract, MonFri

We’re looking for a licensed Physical Therapist to join a Brooklyn Park, MD team on a 13-week contract (ASAP start). This role follows a Monday–Friday schedule, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM. Compensation: Travel pay $2,317/35 hrs or Local pay $924/35 hrs.

What you’ll bring

• Active state Physical Therapy license
• Current CPR/BLS from AHA or Red Cross (AED included)

What you’ll do
You’ll evaluate patients, review medical histories, and work with the care team to understand each person’s needs. From there you’ll create individualized treatment plans with clear goals and deliver hands-on care and therapeutic exercise to improve strength, flexibility, endurance, coordination, mobility, and pain control.

Typical duties include:

• Performing comprehensive assessments and documenting findings
• Setting measurable rehab goals and updating plans as patients progress
• Designing and supervising customized exercise programs
• Using manual techniques (joint mobilization, soft tissue work, stretching) to restore mobility and reduce pain
• Applying modalities such as ultrasound, electrical stimulation, heat, and cold when appropriate
• Teaching safe use of assistive devices (crutches, canes, walkers, wheelchairs)
• Educating patients and families on diagnoses, treatment plans, home exercise programs, ergonomics, and injury prevention
• Developing and implementing pain management strategies
• Promoting functional independence after surgery, injury, or illness
• Communicating with physicians, nurses, and other therapists to coordinate care
• Maintaining accurate, timely documentation and following ethical/legal standards, including informed consent and patient confidentiality
• Delivering culturally sensitive care and adapting treatments to diverse patient needs
• Performing other duties as assigned by management
