**About the Position**
An established hospital-employed surgical team is seeking a General Surgeon to join a collaborative group with strong mentorship and a steady case mix. This is an excellent opportunity for both experienced surgeons and new graduates looking to develop their skills in a supportive environment.

-Clinic hours: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
-Schedule includes 36 patient care hours and 4 administrative hours
-Two full clinic days with designated clinic/surgery days
-Call: 1:3 rotation with 5 days per month built into contract; additional call available for extra compensation
-Patient volume: 20–25 per day once ramped
-Join 2 General Surgeons (1 full-time, 1 part-time, plus weekend coverage support)
-Bread and butter general surgery procedures
-Scopes required
-No robotics
-All procedures performed at one hospital
-No trauma coverage required
-Hospitalist team handles admissions
-Team offers over 70 years of combined experience and strong mentorship

**Qualifications**
-BE/BC in General Surgery
-Eligible for Mississippi medical license and DEA

**Compensation and Benefits**
-Base salary starting at $450K (DOE) plus wRVU production incentives
-$50K sign-on bonus
