Join a Flagstaff, AZ hospital team to provide short-term OB/GYN beeper coverage. This locum tenens role runs May 22–24, 2026 and is call-only: 24-hour beeper shifts from 7 PM to 7 PM. You’ll cover adult obstetrics and gynecology patients in a hospital setting, with 1–3 deliveries expected per shift and admissions and rounding included. Phone consult volume and exact call ratio/response times are to be determined; callbacks occur at a rate of 4–8 hours per shift.
The facility is a 268-bed hospital (Trauma Level I–IV) using Cerner. This is supplemental coverage; temporary hospital privileges are available and credentialing takes about 15–20 days. Travel, lodging, and malpractice insurance are provided; pay rate is TBD.
You’ll be expected to manage OB/GYN patients, perform vaginal deliveries, cesarean sections, and general OB/GYN procedures, respond to callbacks, and collaborate with hospital staff and care teams. Specialty backup, office equipment, and support staff details are TBD.
Requirements: current Arizona license or IMLC enrollment, DEA registration, BC/BE in Obstetrics/Gynecology, and a minimum of one year of experience.
