Requirements:
- Active RN license
- Graduate of accredited nursing program
- BLS required; ACLS preferred
- Previous Med Surg and/or telemetry experience preferred
- Strong cardiac monitoring and critical thinking skills
- Ability to work in fast-paced, diverse care environments
Responsibilities:
- Provide nursing care across Med Surg and Telemetry units
- Perform comprehensive assessments and monitor patient conditions
- Interpret cardiac rhythms and report abnormalities
- Administer medications, IV therapy, and treatments as ordered
- Respond to changes in patient status and emergencies
- Adapt to varying unit workflows and patient acuity
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams
- Educate patients and families on care plans
- Document care and patient status in the EMR
