We’re looking for a dedicated Physical Therapist to join a team in Lancaster, New Hampshire for a 14-week contract starting ASAP. The shift is 8:00 AM–4:30 PM. Travel pay: $1,995/35-hours; Local: $1,967/35-hours.

What you’ll bring

  • A valid, active Physical Therapy state license.
  • Current CPR and BLS certification from the American Heart Association or Red Cross (AED included).

What you’ll do

  • Perform thorough physical assessments: review medical history, evaluate function, and consult with the care team to understand each patient’s needs.
  • Create individualized treatment plans with clear, measurable goals to guide rehabilitation and recovery.
  • Design and lead exercise programs to build strength, flexibility, endurance, and coordination.
  • Use hands-on techniques—joint mobilization, soft tissue work, and manual stretching—to improve mobility and reduce pain.
  • Apply therapeutic modalities such as ultrasound, electrical stimulation, heat, and cold to manage pain and support healing.
  • Teach safe use of assistive devices (crutches, canes, walkers, wheelchairs) to boost independence and mobility.
  • Provide patient- and family-centered education on diagnosis, treatment plans, body mechanics, ergonomics, and injury prevention.
  • Develop and implement pain-management strategies combining exercises, modalities, and manual therapy.
  • Help patients regain independence after surgery, injury, or illness, focusing on improved function and quality of life.
  • Monitor progress closely and adjust treatment plans as patients improve or needs change.
  • Communicate effectively with physicians, nurses, occupational therapists, and other team members to coordinate care.
  • Create tailored home exercise programs to support continued recovery outside the clinic.
  • Maintain accurate, timely documentation of assessments, treatments, progress notes, and any changes in condition.
  • Follow ethical and legal standards of care: protect patient confidentiality and obtain informed consent.
  • Practice cultural sensitivity and adapt care to meet diverse patient backgrounds and preferences.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.
