Locums Nocturnist Hospitalist Physician — Boston, MA (Night Shift, Board-Certified)

Join a respected New England healthcare community as a Locums nocturnist providing overnight inpatient coverage in Boston, MA. This flexible assignment is ideal for a Board Certified internist or family physician who is comfortable managing a broad range of adult inpatient issues overnight.

Compensation

• $190 per hour

What you’ll do

• Manage admissions from the ED and direct admits from outside facilities or clinics.
• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat adult inpatients with acute and chronic medical conditions.
• Provide overnight coverage for medical floors, respond promptly to pages, and address urgent patient-care needs.
• Collaborate closely with nursing staff, consultants, and ancillary departments to ensure coordinated care.
• Complete thorough, timely documentation including progress notes and discharge summaries.

What we’re looking for

• Board Certified in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
• Active Massachusetts medical license
• Active DEA license
• Comfortable handling a full overnight inpatient caseload and working independently
