Radiology Physicians — Chief of Radiology, General/Breast Radiologist, and Interventional Radiologist (Brown University Health, RI)

Brown University Health is recruiting board-certified or board-eligible diagnostic radiologists to join our hospital-based practice near Providence, serving southeastern Massachusetts. We are seeking candidates for three positions: Chief of Radiology (leadership), General Radiologist with Breast Imaging, and Interventional Radiology Physician.

Chief of Radiology (Leadership)
Lead the radiology service line by providing strategic, clinical, and operational oversight while maintaining an active clinical practice. Responsibilities include driving growth initiatives, fostering physician engagement, overseeing quality improvement, and partnering with hospital leadership to optimize service delivery.

General Radiologist / Breast Imaging
Provide a balanced mix of general diagnostic radiology and breast imaging services within a multidisciplinary care model. Clinical duties include mammography, breast ultrasound, breast MRI, and image-guided breast procedures alongside routine diagnostic reads.

Interventional Radiology Physician
Deliver a broad range of interventional procedures in a high-volume, procedure-focused role. Opportunities exist to expand clinical services and develop programmatic growth in collaboration with department leadership.

Compensation & benefits

• Chief of Radiology: $475,000–$550,000
• General Radiologist / Breast Imaging: $475,000–$535,000
• Interventional Radiology: $490,000–$550,000

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited institution
• Board certified or board eligible in Diagnostic Radiology (and IR certification for Interventional role)
• Fellowship training or documented clinical focus in Breast Imaging or Interventional Radiology, as applicable
• Prior leadership experience preferred for Chief role
• Eligibility for medical licensure in Massachusetts
