Chief of Radiology (Radiologist Leader) — Brown University Health, Providence/SE MA

We’re seeking an experienced radiologist to lead radiology across our community-based hospital network just outside Providence, Rhode Island. This full-time Chief of Radiology role combines hands-on clinical work with meaningful leadership and academic engagement through our affiliation with Brown University.

You’ll provide strategic, clinical, and operational direction for imaging services across multiple community hospital sites, championing high-quality, efficient, and patient-centered care. What you’ll do

• Lead and mentor radiology staff across several community hospitals

Compensation & benefits

• Base salary: $490,000 – $550,000 (depending on experience)
• Additional stipends and incentives: $40,000 – $80,000 plus significant RVU opportunities

Qualifications

• Board certified in Diagnostic Radiology
• Completion of an ACGME-accredited Diagnostic Radiology residency
• Fellowship training preferred; subspecialty expertise a plus
• Proven leadership experience (e.g., section chief, medical director)
• Strong understanding of hospital operations, quality metrics, and regulatory requirements
• Excellent communication, organizational, and team-building skills
• Eligible for medical licensure in Massachusetts and Rhode Island
