Locums Board-Certified Elective General Surgeon — Arkansas (3w on/1w off)

We’re looking for a Board‑Certified General Surgeon to support and grow an elective general surgery program in Arkansas. This locum opportunity focuses on planned, non‑trauma cases, offering a predictable schedule and a strong work–life balance in a collaborative, growth‑oriented setting.

What the role looks like

• Practice: Elective general surgery (non‑trauma)
• Schedule: 3 weeks on, 1 week off — predictable and consistent
• Case mix: Primarily planned outpatient and inpatient elective procedures

Core responsibilities

• Provide a full range of elective general surgery procedures
• Perform endoscopic procedures, including EGD and colonoscopy
• Help expand and develop the elective surgery program
• Work closely with a multidisciplinary team of physicians, advanced practice providers, and support staff
• Deliver high‑quality, patient‑centered surgical care and maintain timely, accurate documentation

Qualifications

• Board Certified in General Surgery
• Active Arkansas medical license or ability to obtain one
• Demonstrated experience with endoscopy and EGD procedures
