OB/GYN Hospitalist — Newport, RI (Full-Time; $300–$340K)

Join a collaborative OB/GYN hospitalist team in Newport, Rhode Island, focused on delivering consistent, expert care to every pregnant patient who presents to the hospital. This role improves patient safety and satisfaction by ensuring experienced physician coverage for inpatient obstetric and gynecologic needs while supporting work–life balance.

What you’ll do

• Provide comprehensive inpatient OB/GYN care, manage obstetric emergencies, and collaborate closely with local obstetricians and multidisciplinary teams.
• Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and support a culture of patient-centered care and clinical excellence.
• Participate in leadership and peer-support activities as opportunities arise.

Schedule and compensation

• Full-time hospitalist position with flexible, self-created scheduling.
• Typically 7–9 24-hour shifts per month (about 21 days off monthly).
• No after-hours call or office-management duties.
• Salary $300,000–$340,000 plus a full benefits package and potential bonuses.

Qualifications

• Board-certified or board-eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
• Rhode Island medical license or ability to obtain one.
