Remote Locums Tele-Neurology Physician — Board-Certified/Eligible, Flexible Shifts

We are recruiting Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Neurologists for a fully remote locum tele-neurology role supporting hospitals and emergency departments across multiple states. This flexible opportunity suits physicians seeking supplemental work or a long-term telemedicine practice. You will deliver real-time neurologic consultations for acute and inpatient cases, including stroke alerts, using a secure enterprise telemedicine platform with full clinical and technical support.

Position highlights:

• 100% remote telemedicine
• Competitive compensation: $210,000–$220,000
• Locum engagement with long-term assignments available
• Flexible full- and part-time scheduling (day, evening, overnight, weekend shifts)
• Malpractice coverage provided
• Credentialing and licensing support; additional state licenses paid as needed

Key responsibilities:

• Provide remote neurologic consultation to emergency department and inpatient teams
• Evaluate acute stroke patients and advise on thrombolytic and endovascular decisions
• Review imaging and clinical data in real time
• Collaborate with on-site clinicians to develop and implement treatment plans
• Document encounters in the electronic medical record

Qualifications:

• MD or DO with Board-Certified or Board-Eligible status in Neurology
• Stroke experience preferred; fellowship in vascular neurology a plus
• Active U.S. medical license required; multi-state licensure strongly preferred (licensing support available)
• Licenses in hand preferred for FL, NY, MA, TX, AR, AL, IA, AZ, CA
• Comfortable managing acute neurologic cases remotely
