Job Description
Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Neurology physicians needed for a fully remote locum tenens tele-neurology role supporting hospitals and emergency departments across multiple states. Provide real-time neurologic consultation for acute and inpatient cases, including stroke alerts, using a secure enterprise telemedicine platform with full clinical and technical support.
Position highlights
- 100% remote telemedicine
- Locum engagement with long-term assignments available
- Flexible FT and PT scheduling; day, evening, overnight, and weekend shifts
- Compensation: $210–$220 per hour
- Malpractice coverage provided
- Credentialing and licensing support; additional state licenses paid as needed
Primary responsibilities
- Provide remote neurologic consultation to emergency department and inpatient teams
- Evaluate acute stroke cases and guide thrombolytic and endovascular decision-making
- Review imaging and clinical data in real time
- Collaborate with on-site clinicians on diagnosis and treatment plans
- Document encounters in the electronic medical record
Requirements
- MD or DO
- Board-Certified or Board-Eligible in Neurology
- Stroke experience preferred; vascular neurology training a plus
- Active U.S. medical license required; multi-state licensure strongly preferred (licensing support available)
- Licenses in hand preferred for: FL, NY, MA, TX, AR, AL, IA, AZ, CA
- Comfortable managing acute neurologic cases remotely
