Remote Locums Tele-Neurologist — Flexible Shifts, Stroke/Acute Neuro Consults (Houston-based)

We’re hiring board-certified or board-eligible neurologists for a fully remote locum tele-neurology role supporting hospitals and emergency departments across multiple states. This is a flexible, ongoing opportunity—perfect if you want supplemental work, prefer telemedicine long-term, or need a schedule that adapts to your life. You’ll provide real-time neurologic consultations for acute and inpatient cases (including stroke alerts) via a secure enterprise telemedicine platform, with full clinical and technical support.

Core responsibilities

• Deliver remote neurologic consultations to ED and inpatient teams
• Evaluate acute stroke cases and advise on thrombolytic or endovascular treatment
• Review imaging and clinical data in real time
• Collaborate with on-site clinicians to develop and implement treatment plans
• Document encounters in the electronic medical record

What we’re looking for

• MD or DO degree
• Board-Certified or Board-Eligible in Neurology
• Comfort managing acute neurologic cases remotely; stroke experience preferred (vascular neurology is a plus)
• Active U.S. medical license required
• Multi-state licensure strongly preferred; licensing assistance available
• Candidates with licenses already in hand are preferred—particularly FL, NY, MA, TX, AR, AL, IA, AZ, CA
