Location: Orlando, FL (telehealth-based, nationwide patient panel)
Overview
Provide fully virtual specialty neurology care for patients with Alzheimer’s disease, dementia, and related cognitive disorders. Deliver comprehensive tele-neurology evaluations, manage neurodegenerative conditions, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated, patient-centered care. Serve as a clinical leader supervising APPs and maintaining telehealth clinical standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive cognitive and neurological evaluations via telemedicine
- Diagnose and manage Alzheimer’s disease, dementia, and related cognitive disorders
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, including medication management and monitoring of disease-modifying therapies
- Collaborate with APPs, behavioral health specialists, care coordinators, and other team members to coordinate care
- Supervise and provide clinical oversight to APPs across multiple states
- Ensure compliance with clinical, telehealth, and regulatory standards
- Participate in quality improvement, case review, and interdisciplinary meetings
- Communicate effectively with patients and families in virtual settings and document encounters in the EMR
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary range: $260,000–$276,000
- Full benefits package
Required Qualifications
- MD or DO from an accredited medical school
- Completion of an accredited Neurology residency
- Board Certification in Neurology
- Active, unrestricted medical license in at least one U.S. state (multi-state licensure or IMLC eligibility preferred)
- Minimum 3 years’ clinical experience managing memory or cognitive disorders
- Demonstrated proficiency with telemedicine platforms and virtual neurological assessments
- Strong skills in cognitive evaluation, dementia management, interdisciplinary collaboration, and virtual communication
- Commitment to patient-centered, empathetic care
Preferred Qualifications
- Fellowship training in Cognitive and Behavioral Neurology or Behavioral/Cognitive Neurology
- Prior experience supervising APPs in telehealth or multi-state practice models
- Familiarity with amyloid-targeting therapies and other emerging Alzheimer’s treatments
- Experience in integrated, interdisciplinary, or value-based care models
