Requirements:
- Active RN license
- Graduate of accredited nursing program (BSN; MSN preferred)
- BLS and ACLS; PALS preferred
- Several years of ED clinical experience
- Prior leadership or management experience preferred
- Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making skills
Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations of the Emergency Department
- Ensure safe, high-quality patient care and regulatory compliance
- Manage staffing, scheduling, and performance evaluations
- Monitor patient flow, throughput, and departmental metrics
- Lead quality improvement and patient safety initiatives
- Serve as clinical leader and resource for ED staff
- Collaborate with physicians and hospital leadership
- Manage budget, supplies, and resource allocation
