Join a 9-week contract opportunity in St. Wyocena, WI (ASAP start). Full-time schedule: Mon–Fri, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM. Compensation: Travel $1,677/35 hrs; Local $1,652/35 hrs.

Required credentials

  • Active, valid Physical Therapy state license.
  • CPR/BLS certification from the American Heart Association or Red Cross (with AED).

Role overview
Provide patient-centered physical therapy care through assessment, individualized treatment, and interdisciplinary collaboration to restore function, reduce pain, and support safe, independent activity.

Key responsibilities

  • Perform comprehensive evaluations, review medical history, and coordinate with the healthcare team to identify patient needs.
  • Develop and update individualized treatment plans with measurable rehabilitation goals.
  • Design and lead exercise programs to improve strength, flexibility, endurance, balance, and coordination.
  • Deliver hands-on interventions (joint mobilization, soft tissue work, manual stretching) to enhance mobility and relieve pain.
  • Apply therapeutic modalities (ultrasound, electrical stimulation, heat/cold) as appropriate to address pain and inflammation.
  • Instruct patients on safe use of assistive devices (crutches, canes, walkers, wheelchairs).
  • Teach patients and families about diagnoses, treatment plans, body mechanics, ergonomics, and injury prevention.
  • Implement pain management strategies using therapeutic exercise, manual techniques, and modalities.
  • Facilitate return to independence following surgery, injury, or illness and provide tailored home exercise programs.
  • Document assessments, interventions, progress, and plan modifications accurately and timely.
  • Communicate effectively with physicians, nurses, occupational therapists, and other team members to optimize outcomes.
  • Maintain patient confidentiality, obtain informed consent, and adhere to ethical and legal standards.
  • Demonstrate cultural sensitivity and adapt care to diverse patient needs.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.
