Rate: Travel $2,121/35 hrs; Local $2,090/35 hrs

Requirements:

• Active, valid Physical Therapy state license
• CPR and BLS certification from AHA or Red Cross (with AED)

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform comprehensive physical assessments and review medical history to determine patient needs
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other clinicians to develop and coordinate care
• Create individualized treatment plans with measurable rehabilitation goals
• Design and progress customized therapeutic exercise programs to improve strength, flexibility, endurance, and coordination
• Use manual techniques (joint mobilization, soft tissue work, manual stretching) to improve mobility and relieve pain
• Apply physical modalities (ultrasound, electrical stimulation, heat/cold) as appropriate
• Instruct and train patients in safe use of assistive devices (crutches, canes, walkers, wheelchairs)
• Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatment plans, body mechanics, ergonomics, and injury prevention
• Develop and implement pain management strategies using exercise, modalities, and manual therapy
• Facilitate post-operative, post-injury, and illness recovery to maximize independence and function
• Provide and document individualized home exercise programs
• Continuously assess and document patient progress; modify treatment plans as indicated
• Maintain accurate medical records, progress notes, and treatment documentation
• Adhere to ethical, legal, and confidentiality standards; obtain informed consent
• Deliver culturally sensitive care and respond to diverse patient needs
• Perform other duties as assigned by management
