Travel RN - Endoscopy/Special Procedures (Days, 36-hr wk, York ME) - $2,052/36h

Join a contract/travel team in York, ME, ASAP for a day shift (6:30 a.m.–4:00 p.m.) schedule—36 hours at $2,052. Provide patient-centered nursing in an Endoscopy/Special Procedures setting, supporting procedures such as EGD, colonoscopy, bronchoscopy, ERCP, and other interventions.

Requirements:

• Active RN license in the practicing state.
• BLS required; ACLS preferred or required by facility.
• Prior experience in endoscopy, GI lab, PACU, or procedural nursing preferred.
• Strong assessment skills, IV competency, and ability to monitor sedation.
• Excellent communication, critical thinking, and teamwork.

Key responsibilities:

• Perform pre-procedure assessments, patient education, and preparation.
• Assist physicians during procedures and maintain procedural asepsis and equipment.
• Monitor vital signs, sedation levels, and patient safety throughout procedures.
• Administer medications and moderate sedation per protocol.
• Provide post-procedure recovery, discharge instruction, and accurate documentation of assessments, interventions, and patient responses.

This role emphasizes clinical proficiency, patient safety, and collaborative practice in a fast-paced procedural environment.
