Join a contract/travel assignment in Nashua, NH (start ASAP) for a 13-week full-time role, Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM. Compensation: Travel pay $2,564/40 hrs; Local pay $2,528/40 hrs.

Required credentials

  • Current, active Physical Therapy state license
  • CPR/BLS certification from the American Heart Association or Red Cross (with AED)

Core responsibilities

  • Perform thorough evaluations and review medical history to identify patient needs and establish measurable rehabilitation goals.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and progressive exercise programs to improve strength, flexibility, endurance, coordination, and functional mobility.
  • Provide manual therapy (joint mobilization, soft-tissue techniques, stretching) and apply modalities (ultrasound, electrical stimulation, heat/cold) as appropriate to reduce pain and promote healing.
  • Train patients in safe use of assistive devices (crutches, canes, walkers, wheelchairs) and deliver tailored home exercise programs to support recovery.
  • Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatment plans, ergonomics, body mechanics, and injury prevention.
  • Create and adjust pain-management strategies using therapeutic exercise, modalities, and manual techniques.
  • Facilitate post-surgical, post-injury, and illness recovery to maximize independence and quality of life.
  • Continuously document assessments, treatments, progress notes, and plan modifications; maintain accurate, confidential patient records in accordance with legal and ethical standards.
  • Communicate and collaborate effectively with physicians, nurses, occupational therapists, and other team members to coordinate care.
  • Demonstrate cultural sensitivity and adaptability to meet diverse patient needs.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.
