We’re seeking a compassionate, skilled Physical Therapist to join a team in Everett, WA on a 14-week contract (travel or local). The position starts ASAP, with a typical schedule of 8:00 AM–4:30 PM. Compensation is competitive: Travel pay is $2,121/35 hours and Local pay is $2,090/35 hours.

What you’ll bring

  • A valid, active Physical Therapy state license.
  • Current CPR and BLS certification from the American Heart Association or Red Cross (AED included).

What you’ll do

  • Perform thorough physical assessments and review medical histories to understand each patient’s needs.
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other therapists to build a clear picture of each case.
  • Create individualized treatment plans with specific, measurable rehab goals.
  • Design and lead exercise programs to improve strength, flexibility, endurance, and coordination.
  • Use hands-on techniques—joint mobilization, soft tissue work, and therapeutic stretching—to restore mobility and reduce pain.
  • Apply appropriate modalities (ultrasound, electrical stimulation, heat/cold) to address pain, inflammation, and tissue healing.
  • Train patients in the safe and effective use of assistive devices (crutches, canes, walkers, wheelchairs).
  • Educate patients and families about diagnosis, treatment plans, ergonomics, and injury prevention.
  • Develop and implement pain-management strategies using exercises, modalities, and manual therapy.
  • Help patients regain independence after surgery, injury, or illness to improve daily function and quality of life.
  • Monitor, document, and adjust treatment progress regularly to meet evolving goals.
  • Provide customized home exercise programs to support continued recovery.
  • Keep accurate, timely records of assessments, treatments, progress notes, and any changes in condition.
  • Maintain ethical, legal, and culturally sensitive care, ensuring patient confidentiality and informed consent.
  • Take on additional duties as assigned by management.
